Frank Pierre Jr.

Frank Pierre, Jr., 92, of West Deer Township, died peacefully, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Concordia at Rebecca Residence. Frank was born on, September18, 1928, in Tarentum, son of the late Frank Pierre
and Tillie (Decroo) Pierre. He was a 1946 graduate of Tarentum High School. After initially meeting his future wife as he boarded a ship for his naval service, Frank married Dolores C. D’Amico, July 23, 1949. At the time of her death in December, 2015, they had celebrated more than 66 years of marriage together. Frank worked at PPG Paints, Springdale, as a paint tinter, for more than 44 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish,Transfiguration Campus. Surviving him are his children Jacque E. Pierre and Phillip S. (Nealey) Pierre; beloved grandchildren, Evann L. (Nestor) Tomycz, Jaclyn P. (Victor) Stukat-Gren, Daniel J. (Agnes) Pierre, David M. (Hannah) Pierre, Chloe (Sean) Mathews, Gabrielle (Tim) Vandall, Phoebe L. Pierre, Thomas J. Pierre, James J. Pierre, Andrew J. Pierre, Samuel C. Pierre, and Sophia E. (Vince) Pierre McMullen; beloved great grandchildren Sage, Lida, Nolan, Daphne and Henry Tomycz, Elin and Leo Stukat-Gren, and Ryan and CeCe Mathews. Also surviving are Frank’s sisters-in-law, Nancy J. Petrosky, of Levittown, PA, Sandra (Robert) Ehrhorn, of Vallejo, CA, and Joan D’Amico, of Cabot; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Pierre, of Middlesex Township. Frank was predeceased by his parents, beloved wife, Dolores C. D’Amico Pierre, December, 2015, and by his son, Joseph F. Pierre, September, 2018. A private viewing was held at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, and Christian Funeral Mass, was celebrated, Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lakes, Transfiguration Campus. Frank will be laid to rest next to his wife, Dolores, at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. The family suggests memorials to the West Deer Food Bank.
