James Frank Bibri

James Frank Bibri, 98, of West Deer Township, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Concordia of Cranberry. He was born January 15, 1915 in Bakerton, Pa to the late Joseph and Mary (Piter) Bibri. Mr. Bibri was a coal miner for Ford Collier and a driver for the Port Authority of Pittsburgh retiring in 1979. He was an avid golfer and talented catcher for many of the sand lot teams in the area during the forties and fifties.
He is survived by his children Frank (Judy) Bibri of Cranberry Township and Marie (Carl) Creighton of Woodstown, NJ; siblings Elizabeth Bzorek of Springdale and Louis Bibri of Lancaster; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Helen (Boharch) Bibri ; siblings Alex, Felix, Caroline Bibri and Stella Puz.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Star Rd, Russellton, West Deer Twp. A Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted by James P. Holland Wednesday, July 31, 2013, 12 noon at Transfiguration RCC, Russellton. Frank will be laid to rest next to his wife, Helen, at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. Memorials to American Slovene Radio Program 381 F. St. Pgh, Pa 15209 c/o Sharon Ujcick.
